2019 Conference EnhancementsVoluntourism AND Local TouringAttendees will no longer have to choose between either a local tour or the Voluntourism event. Participants will be able to do both due to a change in the schedule. New Member Orientation in Advance of the ConferenceInstead of a single session being held on the conference’s first day, (2) pre-conference New Member Orientation webinars will be offered where both new members and first-time conference attendees can learn more about KTIA and gain maximum benefit from your conference attendance. Dates TBD. Tradeshow EnhancementsConference attendees and exhibitors will receive new value from two new features:
Traverse Awards EnhancementsIn an effort to elevate the Traverse Awards value and prestige to a level appropriate for receiving a marketing award from Kentucky’s most marketing focused industry, changes have been made to the awards program. Enhancements include new awards (Awards of Distinction), a day long series of award announcements rather than just during the Gala Dinner, and added publicity for winners (The Lane Report, Kentucky Monthly, Kentucky Living and WLEX18). Revised Fee Structure: Advance and EventAll conference fees will remain the same, but will be classified as Advance fees, with higher Event fees activated on October 10. Attendees are encouraged to register prior to that date to avoid the higher fees and to assist the KTIA management team with difficulties that have arisen from an increasingly large number of late registrations. |
